Versa 2 won't swipe

I can see the home screen on my Versa 2 but can’t do anything from there. On the rare occasion I can get it to move to another page, I can’t get anything to work when I touch an icon. I’ve restarted it multiple times and charged it to see if either of those would help but nothing changed.

I've already replaced my first one and the warranty doesn't start over when
they replace it, so I'm out of luck.

My Versa 2 will mot swipe 😞 . I have been dealing with this for over a week not and starting to become frustrated! I have restarted the devise several times and it is still not working. Please help!!

I have had my Versa 2 for about 2 months.    It will not swipe, and I cant get it to shut off to reset it because none of the touch screen buttons work and I cant swipe it.     How do I get it to reboot?    Should I let the battery die?

Hold down the side button for about 10 seconds once you see the logo let go for one second then hold back down until you fill the Fitbit vibrate. That should reset to factory settings.

Mines is doing the same thing, the screen is unresponsive i tried resetting it 2 times already and nothing!! I've only had it for two months 

 

Tried the restarts and still nothing!

I was able to get mine to work after charging it overnight, but it only
worked for an hour or so. Not the swipe is not working. I contacted support
and they had me go through a series of resets and still nothing. Very
frustrating. 😞

I have had my Vera 2 for only a few months and it won’t swipe. Have read all the posts and have tried everything! Can’t seem to find a way to fix it. Really disappointed ☹️

Contact fitbit, they'll send you a replacement, they sent me one for the same issue, and I've only had it for two months too

I have read through all of the comments and fixes have been tried.  I have only had mine briefly as well and am so disappointed in the versa2.  I get so excited when it actually works right! (which has been rare):(  I'll be contacting Fitbit tomorrow.   I did buy the extra warranty, so hope it'll result in a happy customer.    All of your comments have been very helpful.  Thanks

Hey I'm having the same problem with my screen. I put it back on the charger to resync it with wifi but it didn't help! Any suggestions would be great! I can't do anything on my versa 2. But look at the time! 😞

It is very frustrating, but I ended up calling Fitbit customer service and
went through a few things with them on the phone.
Ideally, we want it to work like the commercial right!?!
They sent an email requesting certain information and my replacement is on
its way as of now. I really hope this next one works properly. I hope
you can get it resolved too! Deb

I also had to have mine replaced. Still waiting...…… Hopefully it is on the

I am also having the same issues as of yesterday. Resetting the fit bit does not work

Try all the fixes that are recommended. I received my replacement and it
initially took 2.5 hours to update the firmware, but seems to be working as
it is supposed to now.

Sorry to resurrect an older post but this was the first search result. I recently purchased a Versa 2 and am running into the same issue. The display is on and the device seems to work fine as far as heart rate/steps but I am unable to swipe do anything with the screen. I’ve restarted it multiple times as well with no result.

Just contact them.. They replaced mines that was doing the same thing

If you call Fitbit customer service they'll walk you through some
other options. This way you will also be in touch with them in the event
they have to replace it.
