Versa 2 won't swipe

I can see the home screen on my Versa 2 but can’t do anything from there. On the rare occasion I can get it to move to another page, I can’t get anything to work when I touch an icon. I’ve restarted it multiple times and charged it to see if either of those would help but nothing changed.

This is already a replacement. My first one had battery issues and this one had never worked properly. The screen has always stuck and glitched. Thanks. I’ll contact them more directly.

I’ve reset it a few times but also after seeing your response I did a full factory reset. It still hasn’t worked. My screen gets stuck, the Ickes are inactive and if then it’ll randomly go to a spilt screen.

I've had this some problem twice, and what fixed it was a factory reset. Try this and see if it helps!!

I can't get a replacement on line. I bought mine from a store which is
currently closed! Although it is under warranty, I have to wait until the
stores are all open again...
The recent app update didn't make any difference either.
However, what has helped for me was swapping the Screen Wake option in
Settings back to Manual. It's a bit of a pain as you have to keep pressing
the button to see the time now but, when the screen is 'on' the swipe
function works.

Best to call Fitbit support...if they can't fix it and it's still under
warranty, they will replace it

The screen has only randomly ‘auto’ come on. For the most part if I have to click the left button twice to see the time. Previously I had turned this feature On and off to see if it fixed it but it never did. Feel like I’ve got a lemon!

Yeah, me too. Ive done all the resetting, logging out logging in, force quitting the app, long pressing the button (i actually think the button will break down with all the times ive pressed and pressed and pressed it just to get it to restart)

I have tried countless of times to set it up as a new device,multiple times to try to update the tracker, but as soon as I do, it then goes back to showing the blinking on and off Fitbit logo. Then I have to do the resetting all over again.

I got a new unit a couple of weeks ago. Had to show that it did not work,
but generally very pleased with their customer service. Well done Fitbit

Fitbit and I sent emails to each other already. Sent pictures and even videos that the unit I got just this April 4, 2020 (before that I had a Fitbit Versa that died on me too, though I had that one for more than 2 years already.) is really not working despite all the restarts and programming they made me do.

 

I couldnt wait anymore as I am not used to not having a watch and if they are going to send me a replacement so I went and bought a new one. 😞 oh Fitbit, please reply already.

Sounds like you've tried all the right steps. Hopefully it's still under
warranty...try calling Fitbit support for help

Call in or do a chat with customer service and if your watch is still under
warranty (I think its a year) they'll replace it.

I have my replacement and so far, thank God it works

I am having the same issue. I have restarted it several times and charged it completely, I cannot get the screen to respond to any of my swipes.
