Versa 2 won't sync to my Android phone

My Versa2 is a real **ahem**. It won't reliably sync to my Android phone. I have had it for over a year and am getting REAL TIRED of the: turn off blue tooth, force stop Fitbit app, turn off phone, hold down the Fitbit button for 10 seconds, turn on phone (which will turn on Fitbit by itself), then finally turn blue tooth back on. This works about 1/4 of the time. That means at LEAST 4 times a day I have to go through this dance. And the time on the Versa2 is REAL bad. If you don't sync - than the thing loses around 15 minutes a day. Is there actually a Fitbit product everyone uses that WORKS!? It has been a long long 12+ years fighting this stupid product. I need to change it.

I meant 12+ MONTHS - not years. Although using this thing it SEEMS like 12+ years.

Hi @DarzVersa2 - 12+ years! can imagine it feels like it, if it is not syncing properly!

 

If it loses 15 minutes a day you will need it syncing permanently in order to just know the time.

 

It is probably a faulty watch as it shouldn't lose more that a second a day without syncing.

 

The Versa 2 is probably the best watch Fitbit sell. Don't be tempted by anything more expensive as that could only disappoint.

 

If you have restarted the watch and it's not fixed the only thing left is a factory reset, not without risk of complete failure though. Probably best to chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.
