Versa 2 won't sync to my phone anymore

I've had my versa 2 synced to my phone (with notifications and music control) working for months, but one day it stopped showing either of those things, and I can't sync it from the app

Hi there, @Ra1d. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 stopped syncing and showing your notifications. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you! 

Regarding the syncing issue, please try following all the tips and recommendations provided in this help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If after trying the steps above your Fitbit device is still not showing your notifications, I'd recommend checking whether your Versa 2 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake your tracker, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.
