Versa 2 won't sync to my phone

My versa 2 is not updating the fit bit app on my android phone.  It sporadically updates my sleep numbers but not every day.  Maybe I should reboot everything?

It's worth trying - the restart/reboot process does no harm and can sort out all sorts of issues. For the Versa 2 press and hold the button for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, and then release the button.

May I know the model of your mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here.

Despite meeting the above requirements, the following devices often exhibit compatibility issues that cause our products and services to not operate properly:

If your phone is not on the list above and meets the requirements to operate properly with the Fitbit app, please try the steps below:

1. Remove the Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.
2. Restart your Versa 2.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
5. Set up your Versa 2.

I've done what you've suggested, but when I'm trying to add back my Versa 2, my phone says the Versa 2 is not powered on.  It's been on the charged overnight and it's showing the Fitbit logo, but when I take it off, nothing happens and the logo eventually goes away.  No vibrations - nothing.

I've tried pressing & holding the back button until the logo disappears and waited for it to reappear like I've read in other posts to do, but after the logo goes away, it never comes back.
I've cleaned the contacts to be sure it's charging.

Could the Fitbit just be dead at this point?
Is there a way to do a hard reset on the watch to see if that helps turn it on?
