Versa 2 won't track my GPS activities properly

So my Fitbit Versa 2 won't track my acitivity.

I've Bern cycling and Wankes to check my route. Phone was in my backpack, gps, bt all on, also removed "Energy saving" just to be Safe. Firstly it took forever to have both synced, Theo it was gone within a minute, so I did everything all over. So ohne Part was tracked I took a break, gps gone again. I then decided to track a jogg within the App and also cycling. It worked until I synced it at Home. At first the route was there exactly as I cycled in all detail. So I thought i'd delete the jogg. A minute later the route changed to a very rough version of where I cycled. Can someone help me how to do it properly? I have good internet all the way, not too remote. Really don't know what I've eben doing wrong here...

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.

 

When recording a GPS activity we recommend making sure of the following:

 

  • You are in open sky and moderate trees
  • Adjust how you wear your Versa 2 when you want to use GPS 
  • Make sure your Location in your phone settings is set to Always or All the time for the Fitbit app

Whether you've followed the instructions shared above without luck, please restart your Watch by following these instructions and track a new exercise.

my Versa 2 track my time when I cycled but not my route, what's up with that??!!!

I have same problems and it takes hours for my versa 2 to sync

I would recommend setting up your Fitbit Versa 2 devices as replacements:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1634159769576.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

 

@B4uask To resolve syncing issues, we recommend following these troubleshooting steps.

 

@tlmc Whether the instructions shared above don't work, please provide the following information:

 

- Do you see "Connected" on your Versa 2 screen before tapping the play icon to start the activity?

- Have you turned on your location and Bluetooth on your phone?

- Have you tried to register any activity different than cycling?
