Versa 2 won't track my heart rate

I've done all the troubleshooting. I've turned off heart rate, synced, turned on heartrate, synced and reset. Nothing is working. The lights on the back work. I need more ideas on how to fix this.

Hi there, @MrsJ.17. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. 

As our last resort, I suggest performing a factory reset on your Versa 2. To do so, please follow the steps below:

  • Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  • When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset. 


Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.

I have the same issue. My started the week after Christmas and have tried everything. I tried the factory reset but it didn’t help. Came here hoping to get additional information on a fix but just going to get a new device.
