Was bought a Versa 2 for Christmas and since wearing it from Xmas day is has tracked my sleep twice And only tracking like 2 hours.

What is going on? The heart rate seems to cut in and out also.

I had a blaze for 2 years with no

issues with Heart rate or sleep tracking at all.

@Matt1993 Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for letting me know that you bought your Versa 2 for Christmas. I'll be happy to help you with your sleep tracking.

I would like you to follow these tips in order to get an accurate heart rate reading. After this, please check the following scenarios where you might see only the sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Learn more about it by checking this article: What should I know about sleep stages?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
