Versa 2 won't turn on after a factory reset

Factory reset was done on my Versa 2 and now it is unresponsive.

I have tried holding the left button for short and long durations to no avail.

Also, I have let it sit on the charger for a day and it is still unresponsive. When the factory reset was done, there was 30% or so remaining charge so it shouldn’t have died within that time.

Please help!

Hi there @dodieatk, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2.

It seems like your watch ran out of battery during the factory reset process. If your watch hasn't vibrated when you performed the restart neither when you connected it to the charger, please try the following:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
