Hi there @Karencbn, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details shared in your post about your Versa 2's recent behavior. Thanks for making sure that your watch is fully charged.
In regards to the battery percentage on your Fitbit app that shows as fully charged, note that the Fitbit app updates the battery level every time you sync. So if you haven't synced yet, your app will remain the battery percentage of the last synced.
Once you charge your device make sure to sync and you'll see that the percentage on your Versa 2 will match with the one on your Fitbit app. However, since the screen isn't turning on, I'd recommend the steps below:
Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

I am having the exact problem with my Versa @2.. I was wearing the watch and felt a quick vibration which I thought was letting me know how many more steps I had left this hour. When I checked the screen was black. I didn't think it was the battery. I checked the app and it said 44%. I have had it plugged in to charge and still nothing but a black screen. I am extremely disappointed because I only started using this 3 months ago on May 31, 2020. How can this be fixed?

Hello @Karencbn, thanks for the update. I appreciate you had followed the tips and recommendations provided above.
Note that we don't have repair centers in any country where Fitbit trackers are sold. Since this sounds a bit more serious, I've created a support case on your behalf - you should receive an email from Customer Support at the email you used to register with the Community forums. Note that we may take a bit long to get back to you since due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know. 😉

I also have the same exact issue.
The instructions for restarting are nil. None apparently. Also, if it doesn’t take a charge, I assume with a black screen, restarting can not occur.
This is an unsatisfactory help forum. Acting only to prove how many have issues with this product.
