My versa 2 turn on and work fine while charging, but shut off as soon as you unplug it. It says 100% battery when i pull it off the charger. I tried doing a factory reset, updated everything but still the same. Can someone help.

Hi there, @mashi16. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is not working unless it's connected to the charger. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
There are some issues that affect this, being which power source is used and how clean the contacts are and how well the charger is seated. As per the description of your post, it could be a sign the contacts need cleaning. Confirm that you've tried all tips and recommendations provided here Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Hi,
I tried the steps mentioned in this page Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - Fitbit Help Center (google.com)
I also tried different power sources but every time the result is same. The watch works fine when it is plugged in with charging cable but as soon as you take the watch out of charging it switches off.

@mashi16 This behavior suggests that your battery is dead. Rechargeable batteries have a lifespan. It’s common for phones to have a battery health indicator, but Fitbits don’t have this feature. Sorry.

@mashi16 Fitbits aren't designed to have the battery replaced. Fitbit does not do that or offer support. You'd be on your own finding a shop willing to replace the battery in your area, or find youtube videos and try yourself.

@mashi16 Of course it wouldn't hurt to contact Fitbit about your warranty options. But I'm assuming it's over a year old?

Yes, it is more than three years now. But why is there no repair or battery replacement option? Why sell a costly product with a lifespan of 3-4 years? Fitbit should have added disclaimer that this is cheap product with expiry after three years. I am going to complain with consumer forum authorities. Fitbit shouldn't be allowed to scam people.

Don't know why they do what they do. Been that was as long as I've been aboard with the Blaze in 2016. Under warranty it's replaced. Out of warranty, you're offered a discount to upgrade. No repairs.
