Versa 2 wont connect to new phone

I recently changed my phone from the Samsung S9 to the A71. Although the app and all data have transferred over just fine, I can't get my versa to connect to the new phones bluetooth. The phone on the bluetooth panel states that I need to put the device into pairing mode. How do I do this? All advise I've followed online hasn't helped

Hi @Angelc123  while the Fitbit device uses bluetooth to communicate, it doesn't pair with your bluetooth but it pairs to your email address. Here are the directions for set up - click to read. See if that helps. It also matters which phone you're using -  click to learn more
