Versa 3 - Battery issues after firmware update

Last week I did the mandatory firmware update to version 36.128.6.21.

Before doing the update my battery would last about 5 -6 days (depending on how much exercise I did). 

Now since doing the update it lasts less than a day. That's with everything turned off too (eg. Notifications, snore detection, vibrations etc) . 

Makes it pretty much useless as I don't get accurate sleep data and when I want to use it for a run I have to wait for it to charge. Anyone else had the same issue?

Same issue for me ...my steps and miles lately registering high numbers and
then jumps back. Sometimes even then jumps forward again. It's a pain.

I truly hope this is fixed soon. I hurt way too much to keep having to do extra steps to keep my 10,000 a day which I work so hard for.

I am having the same issue: 4 to 5 days between charging before the update to having to charge my fitbit Versa 3 daily after the update.  Like others have stated, I have never any issue with my fitbit getting hot.  This seems like a ploy to get people to buy a new fitbit tracker. It might not be, but that is how it seems.

I'm pretty sure that's the exact reason. In anycase I'm not buying fitbit ever.

I did the update it totally screwdriver up my watch, screen goes black after a couple hours

THIS!! Literally 4.5-5 hours and screen goes blank. I'm going back to traditional watches.
