I'm trying to pair my Vera 3 with Bluetooth but it keeps saying 'an app is needed to use this device'. I have the app already. Why is this occurring. My phone is Samsung A41

That is normal. The Fitbit app takes care of the pairing, you can't do it using the phone's Bluetooth.
Try logout of the app and login.
Go to the home screen on the phone without closing the App.
A popup sync should appear. Click on it and it should pair and link.
If not try removing the Bluetooth entry on the phone and repeat the process.

I had to delete/reinstall app and then reinstall Versa3 all over again to finally connect to Bluetooth. Also reconnected to wifi.

It doesn't mine, except when it wants too. Versa controls have never worked and I've had it a year or two. I cant use it for music, calls, texts. I wish I'd saved my money and kept my V2. I'm going Apple next

@IDK777 what is it that doesn't?
Versa 3 controls (this has nothing to do with this thread) pair like a speaker.
Put controls on discover mode and search through the phones Bluetooth
