 Has anyone figured out how to get the Versa 3 Controls to stay connected to Bluetooth on a Galaxy s10 plus. Tried logging out, uninstalling the app, unpaired and repaired, not on battery saver mode or anything, turned phone and watch off and back on. More than half the time I have to unpair the versa 3 Controls and pair it again with a new code to get it to reconnect. Wild stuff. And nobody at fitbit seems to give 2 shi÷$. Just got mine 2 days ago but thinking of returning it and getting a Galaxy watch instead.

After a while I did a factory reset and uninstalled the app from my s10 plus and started over. Same issue until I looked at the quiet mode on the watch itself. I hadn't noticed or bothered to check but the versa 3 I have is set to focus mode by default. After a factory reset, it goes right back in focus mode every single time. From the box it's set that way. It's stayed connected for over an hour now with no disconnect after turning off focus mode.

 

From the watch:: settings; quiet modes; focus mode.

 Going into focus mode, disconnecting due to the watch thinking I'm exercising maybe.?

However, I got up and went outside without my phone and it disconnected and would not reconnect without un-pairing and turning off the watch Versa control and turning it all back on, receiving a new pair code. The watch won't reconnect without doing that. You have to un-pair it and re-pair the watch and phone versa control at the same time to get a code though. A real pain if u walk away or it gets un-paired for any funny reason and you aren't aware and think you're gonna be able to take a call on your watch while you drive or whatever. Pretty useless if it won't reconnect automatically without having to get a new code each time. Not like you have time to connect all that while a call is coming in. Nice try but yeah, sucks rocks big-time 🪨.
