The Versa 3 Controls that control the Calls and Input Device settings from the phone's Bluetooth settings continually disconnects.
Here's what's happening & what I've been doing.
I'm on a Samsung Galaxy s10 phone.
The Versa 3 was added to the app and the Versa 3 Controls were working but when I got a call it didn't come through to the watch after the first day. So when I went into the phone's Bluetooth setting & found the Versa 3 Controls were paired but didn't show "connected". However the app and watch synced fine.
So I forgot the Versa 3 Controls and disconnected it in the Bluetooth settings in the watch. I then re-paired the watch with the phone and the Versa 3 Controls showed "connected for calls" again.
However after a certain amount of time this disappears and the watch doesn't take on wrist calls anymore. However, the watch & Fitbit app sync just fine.
So I go into the Fitbit app, click the "On Wrist Calls" button then back into the Bluetooth settings of the phone and it shows "connected for calls" again in the Versa 3 Controls. Then, again, after a certain time, it disconnects.
Round & round it goes, but after about 2 more times it just doesn't work doing that anymore and I have to completely forget the Versa 3 Controls in the Bluetooth settings and re-pair it again. Then it disconnects & I start the process all over again. Meanwhile, this whole time the watch syncs just fine with the app. It just doesn't take the on wrist calls.
The watch is 3 days old.
I've also removed the watch from the app & re-installed it. That didn't help either.
Any ideas?

Hi @Hansonare you having issues with syncing the tracker?
We really need to get notifications to work before trying to setup the Spence controls.
Since you mention having an android phone, let's open the phone settings. Navigate to apps, Fitbit, power, and disable power management for Fitbit. Not having power disabled is a common reason for text failures

Sigh adding myself and my wife to the list here. No vibrations for text messages, messenger, emails, or movement reminders. Finally got the Versa 3 Controls to stay connected last night. Very disappointed in this watch. Nothing is easy

Versa 3 controls not connecting. I can receive messenger notifications, but no texts or phone calls registering on my Fitbit. Have spoken to Fitbit via Twitter, and have supposedly had my case logged and someone is meant to be contacting me... this was 5 days ago and nothing has happened. I use iOS.

Samsung S8 phone
Ok I finally got everything to work ..... and it is still working 🙂
Restarted both my phone and watch.
Paired Versa 3 Controls.
Restarted both phone and watch.
On my phone in Bluetooth - Versa 3 Controls I turned on Calls and Input Device.
Opened the Fitbit App - opened my account, Versa 3 - Notifications selected the apps I wished to receive then I set up On Wrist Calls.
GGGRRRR Nothing worked.
I had do not disturb on my phone turned on so I turned that off and on my watch I opened the settings - Quiet Modes I noticed the Do Not Disturb was on so I turned that off and it is 3 days later and no problems.

I am having this same issue for both texts and calls. I also have the galaxy s10 phone. The only thing that works for me is to unpair then pair again through the ‘on-wrist calls’. However, this only works for so long until it needs to be done again. It’s a huge pain in the neck and not an issue that we should be experiencing given how much was spent on this item.

After going through various things, guided by Fitbit assistance, I now have no issues. I can receive all notifications.
versa 3 controls does not stay connected constantly, as it is not supposed to. It doesn’t need to be connected to receive any notifications. I’m not too sure of their purpose still though 😂

Contact Fitbit is Twitter. Mine now works perfectly, I can receive all notifications without any issues.

@SunsetRunner same problem as what, we have several different unrelated problems mentioned above.
