Versa 3: Died, Won’t Charge, and Stuck in Restart Loop

  • Yesterday I noticed my Fitbit Versa 3 died (seemed a little quick compared to its usual life). 
  • Plugged it into the wall charger over night, woke up to nothing. 
  • Tried restarting several times, and two other outlets, no charge. 
  • Cleaned the device and charger, no help. 
  • Unpaired from my phone and account, now it won’t power on long enough to repair.

Exact same thing happened to my versa 2

I bought it 18months ago

I was told out if warranty and they sent a discount code for a new one. 

Honestly, it seems I’m on an every two year Fitbit dying out of nowhere situation.

Sorry to hear about the problems you are having.  The same thing happened to my device, it just died.  Because I bought it in April of 2021 FitBit didn't offer me any warranty options.  They basically told me to go buy a new one.  I'm struggling with that a bit, spending $250.00 every two years to replace a watch.  I will definitely be researching other options, thankfully there are other companies/products to choose from.
