Versa 3 Distance Cues not working thro’ headphones

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

1) When I go running, Versa 3 doesn’t voice my distance, pace & calorie cues . They are correctly set on the App , and headphones are Bluetoothed properly

2) Do I have to have Spotify to play music thro’ headphones while I’m running. Or , can I download BBC Sounds and play songs via my V3 watch .

At the moment, I’m having to take my phone to get voice distance cues via Strava and songs via BBC Sounds app . My V3 is just something I tell the time in 😖

Hello @RobH1959 and welcome to the Community.

  • Your Versa 3 can only give vibration feedback when you use the Exercise app on the device.  You can only get voice cues if you start your run from the mobile app.  This feature is called MobileRun and you start it by tapping on the "+" sign on the Exercise tile on your phone.  This is a very old feature (notice that the only options are walk, run, hike).  You DON'T want to use this feature because it doesn't capture your heart rate data in the exercise details.
  • You can't download playlists from any source to your Versa 3.  Fitbit used to allow downloads from certain streaming services, but BBC Sounds wasn't an option.
  • I hope you can find a running belt or armband that you like.  You need your phone for music.
