I've have my Fitbit Versa 3 since August 2022. I am completely disgusted. I was under the impression that the Versa 3 would go 4 days without needing to be charged. Nope. I am charging this every other day....without fail. That's false advertising. I'm doing everything I can do keep it charged, but I have to charge it every other day.
When I do charge it, it stops charging at 99%. Then it stops charging at 97%. Then it stops charging at 95%. This is after a 3-hour charge. Finally, I try to reset it. After the fourth time, it finally resets and the charge goes back up to 100%. Until it doesn't and I have to reset it. Again.
The Versa 3 is supposed to count floors. No, it doesn't. I may do 10 floors, but get credit for 5 or 6, if I'm lucky.
It is set to sync automatically, but I often have to sync it.
I am not new to Fitbit as I've had several the last several years. My last Fitbit was a Charge 3, which worked well. Until it didn't. I had had knee surgery last year, and, after I was cleared to start walking again, the Charge 3 wouldn't set up; I just got a black screen. I went with a Charge 5, only to find out that it didn't count floors. So I went with the Versa 3. This is not a good product. It's annoying to deal with it all the time and I'm really tired of charging the thing every other day.

Hi @PamSue you can learn more about the battery issue here - click to read. As for the floors not being counted, Fitbit didn't put an altimeter in your Charge 5, which is regrettable. As for the floors, I had to wave at the top of the stairs to make sure it got counted. Ten feet elevation is required to be one flight. Going down the stairs doesn't count. Since you're under warranty, get with customer support about the battery, but take a look at the article first.

Thank you for responding. I no longer have the Charge 5; when I realized it didn't include floors, I returned it. That's when I got the Versa 3.
As for the floors with the Versa 3, I've been doing the "wave" at the top of the stairs....and it still doesn't get counted. And I'm well over the ten-foot elevation, so it should count. I realize it doesn't count when I'm going downstairs. Today, I should have 20 floors so far; according to the Versa 3, I have 11.
I don't have the Versa 3 on Always On.
I do not use GPS.
For the Display, I have the Brightness on Normal. If it's on Dim, I can't see it properly. I do NOT have an Automatic Setting. Not at the Settings/Display. I have Bright, Normal, and Dim.
I do not play music on the Fitbit.
I am very frustrated!
