When I first open google assistant on my fitbit versa 3 it always says (Try saying things like) I don't know why it does that when all I want to do is get right to the point and ask it what I want. Does anyone know how to get it to stop doing that? I highly doubt its a fitbit problem but it is kinda annoying. Thanks.

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with Google Assistant on your Versa 3.
To properly interact with Google Assistant, please follow the steps below:
You don't need to say "Hey Google"/"OK Google" before speaking your request. For example:
Note that saying "Hey Google"/"OK Google" doesn’t activate your voice assistant on your watch—you must activate your voice assistant before the microphone in your watch turns on.
For more information, see How do I use a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch?

Thank you for the reply Guy. I know what your saying and I do wait for that, I would just like it to be a bit faster and not ask me to (try saying things like) each time I start it up on my watch, it’s a bit annoying but not that bad, I’m guessing it’s a google thing. I was even thinking of changing it over to Alexa but I heard it isn’t as smart 🤔 Thank you again.

Thank you for your reply MarreFitbit. I just tried what you said to do and I didn’t get the suggestion of (try saying things like) like I normally get. The one difference is that I only had the assistance app running on my iPod touch (that’s what I use) and not the Fitbit app running at the same time, I never thought to do that. I’ll keep them both running from now on. Thank you again.

@SunsetRunner - did you also try restarting the watch? It may help too.

Thanks for that tip Guy but that would be a last resort. I'll admit I don't have much on my watch so other than that slow response problem with assistant, it's working great. I also updated the firmware a couple nights ago as I haven't done it from day one. Thank you.
