Hello!
My Versa 3 's heart rate tracker suddenly stopped working a few days ago. It shows " -- " where the heart rate would be, and I've noticed there are no lights on the bottom of my Fitbit. This results in no sleep tracking and inaccurate calories burned.
I have looked through the forums and scoured google, but have not found an answer.
I have tried all of the following:
-cleaned the sensors
-switched hands
-"forgot" the device in bluetooth settings and reconnected
-updated everything
-turned it on and back on
-rebooted
-factory reset (and the updates that follow)
Is my Fitbit just done? Everything else seems to work just fine--steps, time, etc.. I'd appreciate any help. 😃

Hi @ZabbyTabby - what good troubleshooting and reporting, effectively seems there is a problem, try chat via the Fitbit App click profile photo, Help support, Contact Customer support.
On the off chance you could try syncing then do a full Shutdown from the watch Settings menu one more time. Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.
If they agree it is faulty take it back to where you got it for replacement, if still under warranty, 1 to 2 years depending on country law.

Hi Guy!
Thank you so much for replying! I really appreciate your suggestion, that was something I hadn't thought to try!! Unfortunately it didn't seem to work, but I will remember that for the future--my whole family has Fitbits so I am sure it will come in handy. 😄
I am guessing I will be needing a new one. I think it is just over 2 years old, possibly even 2 1/2 years. Maybe thats about as long as they typically last, but I wasn't sure. Again, thank you so much for your help!

@ZabbyTabby - a Versa 3 can't even be 2vyears old as it only came to market in September 2020.
You can see the actual activation date in the watch Settings, About Versa 3, System info menu.

Oh wow! That is great news! So sorry--I thought I got it in 2019.. 2020 was such a blur I guess! I also did not know I could see the activation date. Thank you!! I bought it at target--would I take it there? Or send it to Fitbit?
Again, thank you so much for taking the time to help me out! I greatly appreciate it! 😁

@ZabbyTabby - take it there first, they should honour the warranty if it is 2 years and may be replace it over the counter.
