Versa 3 Huawei Mate 20 Pro notification service not running

"Notification service not running" error on my phone. I cleared data from the app as another user on a different post suggested. This worked for all of about 2 hours now I noticed I didn't receive a notification and low and behold, the app says "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker". Obviously I have restarted my phone several times and it still doesn't work. I had a problem with it when I first got the versa 3 but then after some tinkering in the settings it worked so I thought I hadn't set something up properly. This problem just persists and it is really annoying. I love that when it works, you get every notification that comes up on your phone. If there is no full fix for this, I will return the versa 3.

Hi @njanman - The Huawei phones have issues with Bluetooth capability. You can read more about it here. I know you tried a lot of troubleshooting tips, but here are specific tips for trying to get notifications from your Huawei to your Versa.

Hi @SunsetRunner, I have actually noticed bluetooth issues with my phone since I got it replaced in September last year. Just thought it was a hardware problem but I couldn't be bothered to send it back as I already did that once. Thanks for the info though.
