My versa 3 battery died yesterday. No problem, I go home, connect it to the charger. I see the fitbit logo pop up, so I leave it to charge.
I come back a few hours later and nothing. Screen is just black. Won't turn on, won't vibrate, nothing shows on the screen. Holding the button down won't turn it on. Repeatedly pressing it does nothing. I've cleaned the electrodes, cleaned the charger. Tried different outlets. Nothing. Just appears to have absolutely no response and seems to be bricked.
I never put it in water, but I did have a sweaty workout yesterday. I've had it for about 1.5 years.
Fitbit mods please help, did my watch just die, is there anything that can be done? Am i just **ahem** out of luck?

Hi @Patty2bad - it may be damaged. In the Fitbit App locate the battery level and time of last sync.
Use this to see if the level was adequate to last till the point it died. In other words did it stop due to low battery. (GPS may have been used which will drain the battery quicker.)
If the battery was low at the last sync it may not be charging, see instructions in this link How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen
If there was enough battery and it died suddenly then it is likely damaged, sweat has been known to get in.
Check also it doesn't get hot when charging and if so stop immediately.

Yeah. So when I saw it died, I tried turning it on, it vibrated and flashed 0%. So i knew it was dead. I also started the day on low battery <20%.
When I plugged it into the charger, it vibrated and the fitbit logo has turned on. So it did begin charging and powered on. So it was charging and was turning on and responsive.
Then when I returned, nothing, just black, no vibration, no lights flashing, no response to the button.
I have cleaned the the watch and charger.
Can't check if it's hot when it's charging because it's not even turning on or responsive, doesn't appear to be charging.
This was after a workout. If sweat can get in and ruin them, then I guess these aren't made for exercising huh. Great, guess it's dead. Definitely won't be getting another fitbit.

Did you figure anything out? Mine started to hold a charge for less than 24 hours and it went dead I put it on the charger and now it won't do anything.
