I've had my Versa 3 for half a year and it was working great up until about 3 weeks ago. Since then, whenever I have the Fitbit app open on my phone, the battery on the Versa drains within about 10 hours. When I force quit the app on my phone, the watch goes back to normal and the battery will last a good 6+ days. When I turn bluetooth off on my phone the watch battery behaves normally, but obviously then there's no syncing happening between watch and phone.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, and doing a factory reset on the watch, but it's not made a difference. I've read that some people have had similar issues caused by the snore detection feature, but that's not the issue with mine because I'm using version 3.42 of the app (due to that being the latest version supported by my phone, an iPhone 6 on iOS 12.5.4), which doesn't include the snore detection feature.
As far as I can tell, nothing's changed on either the watch or the phone to explain the sudden change in behaviour. I use the same clock face that I always have (SPo2 Active), have always-on display disabled, the brightness on normal, and have made sure I'm not using any GPS functions or apps like Spotify or Deezer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
