Versa 3 battery is draining overnight

Software version: 36.128.6.17

Clock face: Hawaiian Punch (FitBit)

I updated my Versa 3 (purchased last month) as requested in the Android app. Followed all instructions including leaving it charging during the update. When I went to bed the device was changed at 94%. I got up this morning and it was at 47%. Charged it to 98% at 7:00 am PST today and it's now noon and it's at 47%. It's also quite warm on my wrist like something is running in the background. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I tried to restart the device and I uninstalled high and low heart rate monitoring. No effect.

Hi there, @milobit. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out and the details provided in your post. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Are you using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?

As you already know, that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. Because you're using an Always-On Display clock face, I'd recommend changing the clock face to another one made by Fitbit and monitor your it's behavior in the next day. Additionally, try turning off this setting by opening the Settings app on your watch > Display > Always-on display.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply. I do not have a Premium subscription so I do not even have the option for snore detection. I had the Always On feature for the clock screen deselected since the minute it was installed and verified it was still deselected before posting. Neither of these are my issue.
