After firmware update to prevent user burn the charge display constantly reads 100% after 9 hours of normal usage. Is this a firmware bug?

Almost the same is happening to mine. It was at 83% at firmware update and after it it passed to 99% and it it as kept it at that since then, even after 8h of sleep when it usually consumes 4%. What is going on?

Me too!! It took a long time for the firmware update. The watch has been stuck at 99%. I’m afraid it will suddenly go from 99% to nothing. Hopefully if that happens it will correct the problem.

Yes. This is my issue as well. I’ve tried rebooting and it still sits at 100%

I’ve deleted the app and added again. I also rebooted the watch and my phone. I’m now thinking this is another anti Apple thing. My brother has an android phone and he didn’t even know about the update yesterday.

Good to know. I don’t think my brother did the firmware. I wonder what would have happened if I didn’t choose I agree

The email I received told me that if you didn't install it yourself until February 13th they would have forced a factory reset and automatically update the firmware themselves.

Good morning, you guys. I live in Argentina and I am having trouble installing the update. Can you please tell me what exact version number took your watch after the succesfull update? My update goes to 5% and fails. When I try again using the "Bluetooth" button, is succeeds almost immediatly. But I am stuck in version 36.128.6.17 and I don't know (and can find out if) that is the February 2025 version of the firmware.
Thank you so much for your help.
Regards.
Ariel.

Mine too, % is now changing,was 99% now 97%
------
It took a long time for the firmware update. It was longer too because it took me awhile to figure out how to process.

So I am in a previous version. Do you think that it could be related to my language to be set to spanish (you probably have it set to english)?
Just 30 minutes ago I reset the watch to factory defaults and made the process again with exactly the same results (and version number .17).
Thanks.
Ariel.

Mine is also still showing 99% battery life after 24 hours, which I find hard to believe. Anyone else have Battery Life issues? I use the Glance Clockface so I can connect to my Dexcom for blood glucose readings, so if my watch suddenly goes from 100% to 0%, I have to wait for it to charge to see my readings. HELP!

Exactly the same issue with my Versa 3. Still showing 100% battery after last nights firmware upgrade.
That's either a very clever fix to minimise battery use, but more likely a Glitch with the upgrade.
Anyone from GOOGLE FitBit care to elaborate?

After a day and a half the battery indicator finally changed from 99% to 97% and 2 hours later to 94% and after another night of sleep to 90%. It appears to finally be working.

Here exactly the same, after 1 1/2 day still on 99%. Apart from that de parameters shown in the app are all wrong. On the Today screen it says 15.744 steps and when I tap the stap and go do day-overview its 9.461, which is more correct. This is the case with all parameters. Watch had a reset already, app was re-installed but without succes ☹️ The whole thing is quite useless this way.
