I have a verse 3 tracker and I noticed today that the exercise/activity stats for a hike were wrong. The total miles was under reported the average pace was much slower and the elevation report was way higher than I think the hike actually climbed.
the one I am most sure about being wrong is the pace as I was paying attention to how many minutes it took me to cover each mile. It was in the range of about 15 and a half minutes each mile but the Fitbit reported my pace as 16 and half minutes (approximately).
Any reason for this? The stats that I got from my hiking app (AllTrails) are much more in line with the true stats. Doesn’t the hiking app and the Fitbit both get the raw data from the gps in my phone? So it’s one source of data that the two apps report differently?
