My Versa 3 has displays the date but the time is being displayed in this purple display of a circles instead of numeric characters. I have tried to change the clock settings but button is unresponsive.

Hi @tlcaramel15 - if you can swipe the watch face to the left to get to Settings, you can do a Shutdown from the menu.
Wait 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.
A restart should fix the button but there is a knack and you can't use a finger nail to operate it, it's a squeeze between first finger and thumb.
You can change clocks by swipe face to the left and select Clocks launch icon. Or once you have synced with the phone use the Gallery tile in the Fitbit App to change clock face.
You may need to double tap the screen to make the display visible.
