Versa 3 does not show up in Bluetooth on my iPhone Xs

This morning I could not sync my Versa 3 to my iPhone XS. The Versa 3 does not show in Bluetooth devices. I restarted phone and Versa 3, no improvement. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled from Apple Store, no change. The Versa 3 is visible to my laptop Bluetooth, so I connected to it. However all sleep logs are missing. I can only see 'Calories' in the center, instead for "Steps" that were there before.
iPhone XS still cannot see the Versa 3 over Bluetooth, I made several more restarts, without change.

Hi @VictorIvanov359  - you should be able to click edit on the laptop and add/move the items around.

If you accessed the watch on the laptop it is probably linked to that device now.

Remove it from the device/turn off the laptop so it is not using Bluetooth and restart the watch.

On the phone, try

  • logout of the app and login again
  • got to the phone home screen without closing the app
  • click on the sync popup to get connected again - it may take a while

you may need to reboot the phone and watch one more time if it doesn't work.

I switched off the Versa 3 completely for an hour. Also switched off my iPhone XS for half an hour. Then placed the Versa 3 to charge for a while, without switching it on. Interestingly the display lit up showing a rhomboid dotted greenish logo. I started the iPhone, and the Versa 3, and after starting the app on the phone there appeared the wizard that helps to connect a new Fitbit device. They managed to connect, I set them up step after step. It looks normal, I hope it will keep like this. Thanks a lot for the idea!

Many, many thanks Guy for your solution to this problem I started to encounter two days ago.

A Story

I looked everywhere on The Interwebs™ for a fix and found nothing.

This AM, I began to create a New Thread and it wasn't until I typed in the last word that Guy's answer came up.

A Suggestion to Fellow Fitbit Community Members

Understand that those who help are volunteers.

If possible, try to use the Search function for clues for a fix to your particular problem.

You'll be glad you did!

Thanks @walk_do_not_run appreciate your time and effort  - it is a good suggestion.

Furthermore, it would seem some people merely add to a topic without reading all the relevant posts, many of which will resolve their problems.

A suggestion.

If there are a lot of posts in a thread or topic, work backwards from the bottom till you find a kind person who posted a thank you,

Often it can be in reference to a better answer than best answer, or be the best answer if none has been marked.
