I've been using the Exercise Tracker while swimming recently. Previously, I used the automatic tracking but it defaulted to 25 M and I was in a 25 yard pool. I finally figured out that I could track this on the watch and set the distance. Neither process really tracks laps accurately (in my case it usually shows me doing more than I actually did). The amount of time is usually right on.
My problem is that in the past two days, while I was swimming the locked screen showing elapsed minutes disappeared while swimming. Yesterday, I thought I might have done something wrong, so after 20 laps, I restarted the swim session, knowing it wouldn't be right. When I got home and checked my phone app, I had TWO swim sessions, the original one (and I know it was because is showed like 2 hours since I hadn't been able to turn it off), and the second one that started when I had restarted it. I modified the time on the first one and deleted the second one. BUT, today the time tracking disappeared again. Again, it still tracked the exercise but I could not see it or find it or turn it off. I could only modify the time in the phone app. Something going on? Did I do something wrong? I've searched all the forums for instructions or similar issues. Previously, the screen was locked and I could not get out unless I clicked twice and then selected STOP on the exercise app. Hoping for an answer to how I might manage this or alert FitBit to an issue. Why did it disappear?
