Versa 3 faint white lines across display

Hi 

I wonder if anyone can help please.  My Versa 3 display started flickering intermittently for a day or so, and now has developed a fault where it just has faint horizontal white lines across the face, which move up and down slowly.  Tried to upload a video but apparently I don't have permission.
 
This display cannot be changed with the haptic key or swiping right or left. It won't synch with my iPhone.
 
The device is fully charged.  I have re-started it numerous times, but am unable to perform a factory reset as the display isn’t working.  Is there another way to initiate a factory reset?
 
Any advice would be much appreciated please.
 
It all feels pretty serious / terminal.  I purchased the watch last year - in March 2021 from Fitbit.com,  Is it still under warranty if it can’t be fixed?  Not clear if warranty is one or 2 years.

Hi @DaveWG - by any chance did it get wet? If so try drying it in some rice for a few days.

Warranty is 1 to 2 years depending on country law.

Probably best to chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.

Not sure getting wet should be a problem - the watch tracks swimming as a recognised exercise & I've use it many times for this.

 

I'm in the UK - we generally get just a year warranty - hope Fitbit are feeling generous!

Guy, thanks again for the info.  I contacted Customer Support - can't fix it & they have upheld the warranty, which for the UK apparently is 2 years - happy days!
