My versa 3 has bricked. it won't reset, won't start, just a black screen. i've tried all the suggested methods of fixing it from within the fitbit community... like holding the button down for 10 seconds, trying to change the clock, etc. Nothing works. When I hold the button down for a reset, I do get the vibration then blue diamond logo, but then it goes black and nothing happens. it doesn't sync, no screen, just black.

My screen is black too. It’s charged won’t reset or do anything. This is my second versa. Next time I’m getting a Apple Watch. Versa is too glitchy. My two watches are trash now. Waste of money. At least put a real button on the side so it feels like we are actually doing something. I’m just squeezing nothing and getting nothing. 😡

My Versa 3 has done exactly the same. I've just spent  best part of 2 hours continually reinstalling the fitbit app, but it still won't recognise the app on the device. Extremely frustrated and nothing but problems since I updated to the Google app.

Update 1. I spoke with Fitbit Support by phone. After having me attempt the already attempted - hold button for 10 seconds to initiate a reboot - which didn't work again, they said they couldn't do anymore for me over the phone and would elevate my issue. This morning I received an email, which I paraphrase "We're sorry, but your device is past warranty and we don't have any other options to troubleshoot, so best of luck next time. But, here's a 35% off discount code for any fitbit device except any new releases, again, better luck next time." I can honestly say I won't be purchasing any Fitbit products ever again.

Exact same thing has happened to me. Watch is pitch black, but responds with haptic feedback when pressing buttons, and will display logo when forcing a reboot.

No way to start a factory reset with the buttons.

Draining and then fully charging the watch did not help.

I still have local warranty, but still, am saddened on behalf of the environment that a software glitch like this sends so many watches to the recycling station.
