Yesterday, my Versa 3 began repeatedly rebooting on its own and would not sync with my phone (Pixel 7).
Since then I have:
- confirmed latest software on both phone and Fitbit
- restarted Fitbit manually by pressing and holding button (tried many, many times)
- changed from one Fitbit clock face to another
- gone through the cycle of shutting off Bluetooth, forgetting device, shutting down phone, restarting phone, restarting Bluetooth, and attempting to re-pair the Versa 3
- factory reset Versa 3, shut down and restarted phone and tried to re-pair
- uninstalled and reinstalled Fitbit app and tried to pair the Fitbit again, to no avail
My Versa 3 simply will not pair or sync with my phone anymore. Is there an issue with the app? With Android 14? With the device firmware? Please tell me why my Versa 3 has suddenly ceased to function out of the blue and what I can do to fix it. It doesn't seem like I'm the only one suddenly having this kind of issue. Thank you!

Hi @Myst3rySnail - you seem to have done all the right troubleshooting but I suspect unfortunately it it is a hardware fault, the self rebooting can be symptoms of an internal failure, often caused by an accumulation of water inside, loss of Bluetooth is another symptom.
However to confirm the state of your watch (which a factory reset may have fixed if it was only a software issue) have a look at
What should I do if I lose my Fitbit device? This will help you see if the watch is working properly still, as it could be an issue with the new app or phone.
Also try removing the watch Bluetooth entries from the phone and logout of the Fitbit App, clear the storage cache and force stop it, restart both devices.
Then in the app run set up a new device and replace.

Hi @Guy_ , thank you for your reply. I tried the Bluetooth Finder and the Bluetooth on the watch does not appear to be working. Unfortunately this might be it for me and Fitbit after 7+ years of loyalty!
