My Versa 3 started logging way to many count of floor since past few days. It logged 27 floors while in fact I hadn't even climbed a single floor in a day.

Hi @NehaVersa3 - have a look in the forums as many people report the same issue. So far there is no fix for this.

I am at over 175 today and 200 yesterday!!  Crazy, but I am not seeing any solutions to fix 😥

I have the same issue.  Also, when I view the heart rate on the full screen and highlight anything that is below 113, it says "Out of Range".  This is ludicrous since I am not using the customized heart zones because you can't set all of them.  My sleep log is not updating when I modify it either.  It appears that Fitbit needs to fix the recalculation/update features program needs an overhaul for the following issues:

1.  Customized heart rate zones

2.  Customized movement goals for shift work schedules

3.  Food log recalculation for modified servings

4.  Logging food items from the watch

5.  Weather sync

6.  Additional feelings, i.e., happy, sad, angry, mad, sluggish, tired, etc.

7.  BP readings

8.  Medication effects to the heart, BP, temperature, sleep, food intake and calories burn

9.  Historical feelings trends for Readiness scores

10.  Customized date ranges for trends

12.  Battery life more than 1 day

Please feel free to append the list.  I may be way off base with the list, but I don't think so based on the Community's questions/comments.

Since I just posted my comments, I also can't modify/delete the comment, which is usually 1 of the 1st items on the menu bar.  Why?

This isnt a new issue. I spent time yesterday with support who told me to "reset" my Versa 3 and if the problem continues to contact them again. Contact them today only to be told this is an issue they know about (if you look back in the forums you will see this has been going on for 3+ YEARS), they claim they are working on a fix. But after spending as much time as i did listening to excuses, it sounds like they are just dragging their feet waiting for our warranties to expire.

If this is a KNOWN issue with VERSA products, why keep putting out more? Why not stop the Versa and push the Sense? This has greed all over it.

I would have gladly paid more for the Sense had I known 5 months after getting my Versa 3 I would start tracking 10+ floors while I am SLEEPING!

They also claim they will not sending replacements to people struggling with this issue because there is no guarantee the new ones wont have the same issue. Ya no problem, then keep sending new ones until they do work, or better yet support your customers by just sending a new product (like Sense) that DOES work!

Fitbit has really dropped the ball on this issue, and is taking advantage of their customers.

I know, I spent an hour today on chat being given the same excuses with no resolution. I understand it takes time to fix a bug, but this bug has been going on for over 3 years, and in that time they have not been doing anything for customers who spent hundreds of dollars on a device that was still on shelves when it shouldnt have been.

Telling customers to track non step related activity as a resolution is absolutely ridiculous! I am busy, I do not have time to stop what I am doing to track my every move. Thats why I bought a fitbit! Its supposed to do that for you!

Ive seen the solution of getting another app to track floors for you. Why? Why should we have to get another app to do what the fitbit is supposed to be doing for us?

This is a major issue, a major flaw, and it should have either been fixed by now or the Versa should have been removed from shelves until they can figure out where they went wrong.

I think it’s just turning so many steps into floors.   Like 30 steps is one floor and also .8 km.    I think anyways. It seems that way.

Do you have a lot of steps?  Is it covering your steps to equivalent floors and equivalent kilometers?

Additional feelings!?!,  medication effects?, Historical feelings?    Wow.  Can our watches really do that?  I thought sleeping O2% levels was good.  And I learned about HRV……very informative.

Google/ Fitbit help go first into denial over this problem. They then start talking about changing air pressure or slamming doors. They know there's a fault with the Versa but they keep on selling it. They fob you off with the story that they are working on it, just so that you can't claim anything once your guarantee expires. Scandalous rip off from Google/ Fitbit.

How they get away with selling faulty devices I just don't know.
