Hi @Scuba68 - first step, hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Then try and sync, and if necessary restart the phone and and watch and try.

The new V4 Fitbit App has syncing problems which can come back after a successful sync.

If this doesn't help post a photo of what you see on the watch.

Hi there, @Scuba68. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Versa 3 is not connecting to your phone anymore. We'll be glad to help you with this.

As a first approach, please follow @Guy_'s tips and recommendations. If the issue persists, please try the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

My Versa 3 only displays the Fitbit logo. Cannot connect Bluetooth on Android. Have reinstalled the app, removed re-added device and still nada. Followed everything you mentioned.

@Survivor2023 Welcome on board. Thanks for following the tips and recommendations I've provided above. It's sad to hear that your Versa 3 is still not responding.

As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your watch. Before doing so, first make sure to remove your watch from your Fitbit account, then try the steps below:

  1. Don’t plug the Fitbit device into the charging cable.
  2. Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off.
  3. After the screen turns off, you’ll feel a short vibration:
    1. When you feel the vibration, release the button and immediately press and hold the button again.
    2. Wait until the blue logo appears, then disappears:
      1. Immediately release the button and then immediately press and hold it .again, until you feel a vibration.
      2. After you feel the vibration, release the button.
        • This vibration indicates you started the factory reset.
        • After the Fitbit logo appears, the Fitbit device shows the image with the phone icon and setup indicator.

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.

Hi,

I've been having similar problems, my Fitbit updated earlier and has since been unusable. It's stuck on the loading screen. I have attempted to follow your tips above, but the logo does not disappear. No matter how long it's held for.

Is there a fix for this? Or has the update broken my device? If so, what's the process for getting a replacement.

Thanks

Having the same issue here-Can’t keep anything synced or working correctly. It is the ONLY thing I have connected to my Bluetooth and it STILL won’t remain connected. Even upgraded my phone thinking an d phone might be the issue. But nope- it still won’t stay connected. It’s getting frustrating enough to begin looking at other smart watches and getting rid of Fitbit.
