Versa 3 is not water resistant

I am extremely disappointed with Fitbit after wearing my Versa 3 for the first time in a pool yesterday. I have a Versa 3 and typically take it off while showering or swimming but my husband and I were taking our baby swimming yesterday and I figured I wouldn't have it in water for long, or deep, so it should be fine. My husband wore his Versa 2 with no issues. My Versa 3 will no longer turn on or anything despite being dried off and attempts at a factory reset.

The watch says it's water resistant to 50m and yet mine broke in less than 2m for no longer than a 15 minute duration. I contacted Fitbit and was told all they could offer was a 35% off discount for my next Fitbit... so my faulty watch is now going to cost me a few more hundred dollars if I want one that actually works now? No thanks! Clearly the thousands of dollars I've spent in products over the last 8 years of being a Fitbit customer means nothing so Garmin watch, here I come!

Mine stopped working out the blue after 2.5yrs.

Fitbit chat keep disconnecting me and offering a 35% discount to rebuy the product.

It's my 5th Fitbit product in 8yrs and I'm sick of it. I've been a premium member too for some part of the journey, and have recommended their products to countless people over the years.

After they offered 50% off on the phone, before agreeing to send a replacement on the basis that the device stopped working for no reason whatsoever, they've now reneged on their offer and are offering 35% off if I repurchase a device. They say the Versa 3 is out of stock and won't reply back to any of my emails.

It's very disappointing - I went from a Pebble > Charge > Charge 2 > Versa 3, hoping that this would be a much better product than the others I'd owned (a few of which were also replaced for failing unexpectedly).

I was told on the phone that the watch can be expected to last 2yrs, so mine has already outlasted it's expected lifetime - bit of a joke really!

Looking at the Vivofit now... I refuse to buy anything given the appalling after-sale service.
