Hi there, @karenberryman. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Please note that your Versa 3 may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with. To make sure your watch has recently synced, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
If by any chance you are running into syncing issues, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Hope that helps.

Mine decided to jump ahead 2 hours in the middle of the night for no reason, so my alarm went off at 3:11am (set for 5:30am with smartwake). I was dead asleep in the middle of a dream - so Smartwake doesn’t work either.
have had several glitchy issue in this first month. Had Ionic for almost 4 years, no issues, loved it! Changed because of the recall. Disappointed.

I just switched from my Ionic to a Versa 3 and the Versa does not keep time. I realize it's a sync issue, meaning I need to sync it to phone. However, I do sync it each morning. I should not have to continually sync to my phone for it to keep correct time and show the weather. What is the point of having a that information on my wrist if I have to keep syncing it multiple times/day to keep it updated? My husband also has a new Versa 3 and his does not have this issue. Should I return it and get another?

I am having the same issue. Lately it has been even giving me military time. I miss my old Versa!

Hi @Lanamafit - you can alter the time presentation bu
HI @Smurfinator - the only way you can get updates to the weather on the watch is to sync it with the app as otherwise it has no means of getting new information from the internet, as it will just be a standalone device.
However if the phone is properly set up it will sync automatically all by itself and all will be ok, so check the options in Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

@Smurfinator- situations vary due to many different combinations, but
Something to check is that battery saving isn't implemented on the phone to shutdown the Fitbit App or Bluetooth.
Sometimes restarting the phone and watch may improve things.
A simpler process to repair syncing which shouldn't be needed but can be useful
if that doesn't work remove the "Versa 3" entry from Bluetooth and do it again

I had continual sync problems with the FitBit app after changing my watch from Alta HR to Versa 3 on the same phone. The first few syncs would be okay, then it would get more and more unreliable throughout the day until I had to restart the phone and then the cycle would repeat. I was restarting the phone every day.
I tried everything suggested above, but what fixed it for me was unpairing the watch from the app, logging out, uninstalling the app completely to clear its data, restarting the phone and then installing the app and pairing the phone again. It's been fine since.
My assumption was that the app needed a full reset after switching between watches before it would sync reliably.
