Versa 3 is stuck in French

Following a recent trip to France my Versa 3 has changed language to French and now i can't get it back to English.  I've tried all the stuff about turning off automatic location setting and language selection and tried then synched it but it makes no difference.  The Fitbit App is is in English on my Iphone 16 its just the watch that is wrong.

What else can i try?

Hi there, @cdm64. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 is still showing the wrong language. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

In addition to the steps you've done, I was wondering if you already tried restarting your Versa 3? If not yet, please follow these steps to restart it.

Once you've restarted, please make sure you've followed all these steps in the order listed (or try them once again after the restart):

If you sign I with your Google Account:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Fitbit settings App Settings.
  2. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  3. Choose your country, then sync your device.
  4. Follow the instructions to update your device to use the language you selected.

If you sign in with your Fitbit login:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap Settings > App Settings.
  2. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  3. Choose your country, then sync your device.
  4. Follow the instructions to update your device to use the language you selected.

Note that your Fitbit devices uses the same language that you use for your Fitbit account.

HI @MarreFitbit I had already tried the restart you suggested and done all the automatic turning off of country and then syncing but to no avail.  However, I can now report that I have suceeded but.... I had to do a hard reset using the reset option on the watch itself and then go through device set-up again. Fortunately my watch was previously synced so all my data was preserved, but i have had to setup the watch again with my customisations. But i'm just happy to have it back in English.

Thanks anyway for your suggestions.
