Versa 3 is stuck in a reboot loop

My Versa 3 is new a few months old and yesterday during a walk on a hot day just rebooted and is stuck in a reboot loop, it shows the logo and then screen cuts and 10 seconds later the logo is on again and the same loop continues. I have tried resetting the device by holding down the haptic button for 20 seconds, during that time it just goes through the same reboot loop, with no change. To be honest for years I have used Fitbit and have never had any issues until now, it is very disappointing.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

When this type of technology screws up it’s time to ditch it and have the manufacturer send you a new one. Ever wonder why all of this “stuff” comes with very short term warranties. I must say though that their support staff tried to assist me. They sent me a new band and a courier label to send the watch back to get a new one.

I've got the same issue, it started yesterday. The last synch was yesterday morning, I did not notice it was not synching until last night. Have tried the suggestion to push the button multiple times until the watch vibrates and then hold for 20 seconds. This just starts of another cycle of continual rebootings. The watch is now showing 0%, I might wait until it drains out the power to even show the 0%, and then try recharging it.

Seems like there should be a way to refresh or reload the system for instances like this, if they are caused by an incomplete system update.

The only way I found to fix it was to reset it back to the factory default & delete all user info then go through the whole pairing & setup process. Problem is it's been over a year or so since I had that issue and I've forgotten how I was able to get to it to that particular setting. I want to say it's by holding the button(s) on the side for 20 seconds or longer.
