I had pushed the swimming timer about 3 hours ago and haven't been able to get it off. There is a lock button by it nothing will work besides my Google Assistant.

Hi there, @Jveg2002 @Kylie21. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Water lock turns on automatically when you start a swim in the Exercise app. Try a double tap of the button to turn off water lock. For more information, see Can I swim or shower with my Fitbit device?

I just used the swim mode for the first time . Mine is also stuck and I'm wondering how to get it out without having to reset it

Hello @Joannazironggao and welcome to the Community.  The Versa 3 doesn't have a button that sticks out.  Run your finger along the left side of the screen.  You will feel an indentation.  It's called a haptic button.  Press it and you'll feel a vibration.  You need to press it twice and feel that vibration twice.  The timing is important.  It doesn't always work on the first try.

Try holding it. That's how I do it.

Doesn’t work for me. It’s still on swim mode

@missyportela   The timing is very important.  There seems to be a sweet spot in the timing of the two presses.  Make sure you feel the vibration.  Once or twice it took me 5 times to end it.

I have the same issue but even when I double tap the button it doesn't turn off. Is there another way? Am I missing something? Only way I can get it off is to reset it meaning I lose all my swim data.

Hello @Mitchjames and welcome to the Community.  The only way to turn off the water lock without losing data is to double press the button.  Like I wrote in my other post, it seems like the timing needs to be just right.

After almost an hour of tapping the screen, I came across your suggestion and it worked after a couple of tries, thanks 🙂 x
