I have recently found my Versa 3 reflecting a hr in excess of 130 when I'm not wearing it. Today if was on the counter registering hr of 160. This concerns me because I suffer from afib and need to be able to use the fitbit to gage/track my hr.

Hi there, @KellyLee2020. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the inconvenience with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Please note that sometime the Versa 3 can't detect you have taken it off, and it sees what it thinks is your pulse. Note that if you remove your watch but it keeps moving, for example if you put it in a pocket, backpack, purse, or even on a nigh stand table, the Versa 3 may display an erroneous heart rate reading due to the vibrations. In addition, keep in mind that there are some factors that can affect the heart rate readings such as movement, temperature, humidity, stress level, physical body position, caffeine intake, and medication to mention a few.
For more information, see How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device? and What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?
Hope this helps.
