Versa 3 is tracking my calories too low

Hello, I am wondering if you can help me figure out why over the past 2 days my Verda 3 data seems to have changed.
I had done 17591 steps yesterday but today it says I only did 3604 steps as well as less calories burnt.

also so far today I have done 12343 steps but calories burnt is at 1089, with these steps normally my calories burnt would be about 2000

thank you

Hi there, @gfardxlaw. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the inconvenience with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.

By any chance, did you recently update your profile settings such as height, weight, age etc)? If you did, I'd double check your personal information to see if your weight and height were properly set, it may worth the try. To update your profile, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?

Fitbit devices combine your basal metabolic rate (BMR)—the rate at which you burn calories at rest to maintain vital body functions (including breathing, blood circulation, and heartbeat)—and your activity data to estimate your calories burned.

Your BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the calories you burn in a day.

As for the steps missing, please note you can manually add them back. For more information, see How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Hi ya,  thank you for you reply.

I have not adjusted any profile settings

it seems that overnight it has deleted steps and miscalculates things.

it has deleted steps I took noon onwards yesterday which I do not understand why. I appreciate that I can enter them manually but could you let me know if there is a system issue at all? If it continues and I need to enter steps manually I need another devise to calculate those steps 🤦🏻‍:female_sign:

In relation to odd calculations:

On 21.09.22: 15402 steps were equivalent to 2633 calories burnt but today 15769 steps seems to have used just 1796 calories which cannot be accurate at all
