Versa 3 is tracking my calories too low

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

My versa 3 watch seems to be recording very low calories burned. Im not sure why the days are different .

74 calories walking 1 hour 30 mins

50 calories walking 1 hour

288 calories walking 1 hour

I walk the same routes every day. How can it be different calories burned?

I'm viewing this information on the app and I sync the app all the time.

Hi there, @SarahJane.. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your calories burned. I understand where your concern is coming from. I will be glad to help you!

Have you check your settings to see if anything was changed accidental? I'd check your personal information to see if your weight and height are properly set, it may worth the try. To update your profile, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?

I don't think it's clear what I'm asking? My weight and height are correct. I'm not talking about BMR.

What I'm saying is I walk the same route. 3.5 miles.

One day it's saying this is 50 calories burned. Next day it's saying 288.

@SarahJane. Thanks for getting back and for clarifying your previous post.

While reading your post, I was wondering if by any chance you manually log activities? Typically, your steps will be recalculated if you manually log an activity as the manually logged activity takes precedence over the steps you tracked while wearing your Fitbit device at that point in time. For example, if I am wearing my Fitbit device and walking and I burned 100 calories, then manually log an activity that starts and ends at that point in time for say 1 hour, Fitbit will calculate how calories I burned and it may bring my calorie count to something below 100. For more information, see How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?

No I don't manually input exercises. I just wear the fitbit all the time
I'm awake.
