Versa 3 is tracking my heart rate too low

When I use my versa 3 to monitor my work out, usually the rowing machine or treadmill, it says my heart rate is at 80bpm, which is lower than my resting and should be around 150bpm. I have tried having the watch on looser, tighter, higher up my wrist, lower down my wrist, resetting. Nothing seems to work. I only bought the device a week ago and this has been a constant issue

Same problem. The workout machine said my heart rate was 160 and Fitbit said something under 100
