Versa 3 is tracking too many floors

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Starting about 2 weeks ago my Versa 3 starting counting a crazy amount of floors. My average is about 5 to 10 floors. Its progressively getting worse (higher floor count day by day) Yesterday it counted 43 and tonight I'm up to 67 floors! It counts at least 5 floors while I'm sleeping! I called customer service and the lady I could hardly understand didnt offer any help. Said just restart it and check app for updates. I had already done that. Any plans to fix this issue? I've only had my versa 3 about a month.

Hi @strayerd  - we would all like this issue fixed, you will find many other same reports in the forum.

If you are interested in how your watch pressure sensor is behaving or whether you can get a more accurate floor count, you can verify you don't have a watch problem by using the SimpleFloors app.

The App shows how your watch is affected by environmental issues such as, going room to room, upstairs/downstairs, inside to outside, changes in temperature, etc.

This App is only meant for checking purposes as it uses the battery a lot, but at least it will give you an idea if your watch is fine or if it is some other issue which seems to be the case.

This problem has been known since the device was released.  Fitbit does not care and does nothing and then you warranty runs out.  Not a good product or company.
