Why is my Versa suddenly tracking way more floors than I climb like eighty to ninety a day! Has anyone been able to fix this? Everything is up to date and I have restarted and reset to factory. Ideas?

Hi there, @Allyj04. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Versa 3.
As a first approach, I'd like to reinforce that your Fitbit devices may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Devices may track floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors. For more information, see: Why does my Fitbit device count extra floors? You can also find more information about tracking activity in this help article: How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
If you want to remove floors from your account, please follow these steps.

Hi there, @dashbery. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums.
Regarding your Versa 3 not tracking floors, keep in mind that it tracks floors by measuring changes in air pressure through a small hole in the back of the Versa 3. If this hole becomes blocked then it can cause this problem.
With that being said, please try cleaning it with by following these steps: How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Don't forget that Fitbit devices that count floors have a small hole (altimeter sensor) on the back of the device so please don’t insert any items, such as paper clips, into this hole as you can damage your device.
Hope that helps.
