My versa says I've walked 18 miles, I've not left the couch all day. What's that about?.

Hi there, @Bellkaren6928. Welcome to the Community Forums. 

Do you have another app connected to your Fitbit account that will add more steps? Mobiletrack maybe? Low-power step sensors inside your phone track your steps and send the data to the Fitbit app. We recommend using MobileTrack if you forget your Fitbit device at home.

With the above being said, I'd suggest you to check if MobileTrack is causing the extra steps. I've seen many users (including myself) who had have this issue and at the end we realize that MobileTrack was the one adding steps while we were sleeping. It would worth the try to double check this.
