Versa 3 isn't tracking my floors accurately

Why does it not pick up how many times I go up and down the stairs correctly so annoying.

This is very frustrating.....I consistently get around 100 floors...I just went for a walk around the mall and it said I did 100 floors as I was sitting down....might be time to go back to my Samsung

Hey fitbit, if you can't fix it can you at least tell us how to shut it off so it's not throwing tracking counts off?  I literally live in the Plains and at work yesterday I had over 100 floors on a ground floor hospital unit.

Mine has largely resolved itself over the past two or so weeks - not sure why, as I haven't updated (last time I updated it it made it significantly worse) and I haven't changed anything I'm doing. I'm not registering a normal amount of stairs, with the odd day of 30 - 40.

I went for a walk around the block today and my Versa said I scaled 14 floors. It's way over calculating my steps.

I will weigh in on this topic too.  I can easily explain why there is a delta in the # of steps registered on my wife's Versa 3 and mine- she is 5'2" and I am 6'2", however there is no way to explain- short of a flaw in the Versa 3- why on the same hike I register 52 floors and her Versa 3 registers 96 floors.  Based upon previous Fitbit models I have used, mine seems to be accurate, and hers is way off.  Fitbit you are losing credibility by not fixing this problem.

Same thing happening here, all I did today was put it on, drive to the local park and do a 2 mile jog. No stairs anywhere that I went, yet somehow I did 35 floors.... -_- would like this to be fixed cause that's ridiculous.

It's ridiculous...my versa 3 says I'm doing 90+ floors a day when in reality it's 10 or 15 max. I'm really getting annoyed with it. What's the point in having a fitness tracker if it's just going to be so wildly inaccurate?? Couldn't believe it when I contacted Fitbit and they offered absolutely no resolution whatsoever. It's faulty, end of. I've only had it since December and I'm really regretting it now...

Same boat as you. My Versa 3 was purchased in December as well. I am getting around 90 floors per day too. In reality, I am probably doing around 5-10.

Yea it’s getting so bad I’m considering selling my Fitbit and getting a galaxy active watch instead.

I agree.  It's bad business that the way they tell you to fix it is to manually delete and then reenter your floors yourself.  Part of the convenience of a tracker is that it is supposed to do it for you.  Why else spend the money when you could use a free app to track your steps?  Definitely will be telling others not to invest in a Fitbit until they get their ducks in a row.   It's a shame cause their products used to be so good 😞

My Versa and Versa 2 never had this stair counting problem. I have a Sense with this problem and was hoping the Versa 3 didn't, but I guess I'll have to start looking elsewhere.

Hey everyone, feel free to be jealous- earned my shooting star badge today while sitting down!  On a side note, has anyone used the Samsung Galaxy watches for fitness tracking?  If so how accurate are they?

I chatted with a representative and they asked to reset which I did, including factory. Still getting 30 flights before I leave in the morning and 1-200 per day. They said to "wait for an update" what is the status on this??
