Versa3 purchased Sept 2020 keeps randomly rebooting itself, showing the Fitbit logo, randomly vibrating and turning itself on and off. The sensor lights in the back are flashing green, but will turn off whenever the fitbit turns itself off and restarts itself. A red light will briefly blink once during the restart. It will sync with my app and show that it is able to hold a charge at 100% when it is plugged in, however the watch will keep resetting itself while it is connected to the charger too. Before encountering all these problems starting a day ago, my battery life would last me at least a week so I do not believe it is a battery or charging issue. Motion wake will work once or twice, screen goes black, randomly reboots. Button on the side is responsive (at least 80% of the time) and does vibrate, but the screen will either turn on for a few seconds normally, or it will turn black and then reset itself, showing the Fitbit logo. I have tried doing multiple factory resets, uninstalled all 3rd party apps and clock faces, and even made an entirely new fitbit account so none of my old data is associated with the watch or app. After I do a factory reset the watch will show me a notification to download the Fitbit app (at this time, the button responds to every press and will vibrate and turn on the screen each time I press it). During every single factory reset it will be able to stay on and go through the entire set up and firmware update and install process without shutting off. After everything is set up and I try to wear the watch it goes into a restart loop and the same problems happen. Could the firmware update be causing my watch to fail? Is there a way to revert to an old firmware from when my watch was working? What is the life expectancy of this watch? I have tried contacting Fitbit customer support and am being told the factory reset is my last option and since my watch is no longer covered under warranty, I can only get a discount on a new watch. I am not looking to purchase a new watch if a firmware update will cause my watch to behave this way.

HI @vaporlom - it would seem your conclusions are correct that either it's a new firmware fault, or a watch fault.
See the other post on this matter for possible insights Versa 3 randomly rebooting itself
