Versa 3 logo stuck on screen

Versa 3 worked fine up until yesterday 8/5/2023. Took it off and went to pick it this morning and the screen is just showing the logo. No reset was done no other issues until now. Tried holding down the side button but it does nothing.

The same exact thing happened to me! I have no idea what happened or how to fix it. I can’t even access the customer support!

I'm calling customer support tomorrow.  Not happy at all! I purchased less than a year ago. If this isn't fixed I will not be purchasing another Fitbit product.

If your watch is less than a year old it can be replaced under warranty.

But just in case try changing clock face in the Fitbit App Gallery tile, it won't work, but then hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

If it is able to detect the clock face change it may start normally.

This just started on me today. I let the battery run out, now it won't start up, it just sits at the logo although I charged it. I at least need my time back, I need the watch! I held the button down 10 seconds until it shut off, then the logo came back. I tried multiple taps on the button, nothing. Tried the app, it doesn't see it anymore. WTF do I do?

Hi! My problem was solved! I reach customer service from Instagram DM and they are very responsive.

This is what i did

Please try a factory reset:

1. Don’t plug the Fitbit device into the charging cable.

2. Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off.

3. After the screen turns off, they’ll feel a short vibration:

      1. When they feel the vibration, release the button and immediately press and hold the button again.

      2. Wait until the blue logo appears, then disappears:

            1. Immediately release the button and then immediately press and hold it .again, until they feel a vibration.

            2. After they feel the vibration, release the button.

This vibration indicates they started the factory reset.

After the Fitbit logo appears, the Fitbit device shows the image with the phone icon and setup indicator. Try setting up again afterward.

You’ll need to reinstall any apps on your device after the reset, and if you couldn’t sync your device, then any data on the Fitbit device will be lost.

It takes a while until i can access my Fitbit back.

Hope this helps others Fitbit versa 3 user's!

I called and customer service walked me through the steps for a reset. It did nothing and still had the unusable logo screen. Not yet at a year so filled out the replacement information. Seems like this is a wide spread issue so we'll see how long till the replacement is received.

My Versa 3 is 4 months old and I am facing exactly the same problem. Logo came on after charging and the watch does not start no matter how many times I try the restart or on/off procedure. The live chat as its always busy and I don't know where to go in Singapore to get my versa 3 fixed or replaced.

Hi, @VLam - your watch is under warranty and can be replaced where you bought it (it can't be repaired) but have you tried the posted solutions?

You can always chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.
